running and snoring

My day started at 4am, when my darling husband took 10 minutes to connect the key in the front door and open it. Thank god Trevor was with him because I don't know how he would have got home in one piece. I did hear Trevors kind offer to put him to bed but Clinton grunted he would be ok and then took 35 minutes to climb the stairs, undress, bounce off every wall in the house and fall into bed. Within seconds the snoring began and every 15 minutes I pinched, squeezed, kicked and shouted at this slug like body to achieve silence, which unfortunately didn't work.

Eventually Megan crawled into bed (on my side this time) at 6.30am, she even commented on 'Daddies noisy nose' so we escaped downstairs to the sofa and fuffly blankets to watch the marathon runners prepare for the big start.

By 9am we were fed and dressed and outside in the rain watching the elite women run around the Sun in the Sands round about. We then met our lovely neighbours who invited us in for tea and bacon butties. What a lovely start to the real morning. I managed to get a now silenced Megan into Marie and Bens house, with our wet buggy and a moaning Erin, when the mobile went, it was a wet Lisa and Katie Louise, who had watched their first marathon and were also up for tea and bacon butties. So we were all entertained by little Louis (Megans 3 year old friend) and Ben at number 11 Sun Lane, whilst Clinton slept like a baby in his bed until 2.30pm!!

By 3.30pm I was ready to leave Clinton with the girls and run off with Fluff to London. Clare treated me to a night of Ballet. I had a lovely night, we drove to London, which did take 2 hours but I did enjoy the journey as we chatted lots about life and the universe. We then had a lovely meal at a Moroccan restaurant off Regent street followed by a few hours at the Apollo cinema to watch a film on the Ballet Russe, all those prima ballerinas, how they started the ballet Russe and how it finished. It was great, I really enjoyed myself and again Clare made me feel special. Thanks hun x

Clinton sounds like great craic...except for the snoring and sleeping in till 2.30pm. Has he forgotten that girl#3 will be here in a few weeks? Hilarious!

Mad isnt it, probably making him out as a right nutter, he does have his fair share I suppose during the week.
