Oh joy of joys, everyone is sick and crying, what a great way to start the day! Erin woke the entire street at 5.30, apart from Clinton, who slept through everything as usual. She was standing in her cot crying her heart out when I discovered she had a temperature of 37.8 (nearly 100). She wouldn't eat or drink, she just wanted cuddles. This calmed her down a lot, then Megan started. She has developed a horrid cough and a nasty attitude to go with it. So imagine this, I am walking around the kitchen with my eyes half shut, my tummy hanging out, trying to work out where Erins bottles are. I accidentally left one of the wall cupboard doors open and walked straight into it, banging my head. Luckily I am a short arse or it would have whacked Erins head instead. I then have to sit through Postman Pat and the Tweenies at 6am, trying to wake myself up.
By 8am Erin has managed to eat and drink, this brought her temperature down to 37.2 (still very high) I was quite pleased that we didn't need to use drugs to do this. Then Clinton manages to get himself out of bed and gets Megan dressed for school, he takes her to school and I take a nice walk to the doctors. After waiting about 40 minutes in the surgery I am then told off for bringing an ill baby into the well baby clinic!! Whoops, so sorry about this, I am a working mum and didn't realise this was a doctors surgery for healthy people, how bloody silly of me!!.
I managed to see a doctor who told me Erin had a high temperature (I had already gathered that one!) and an ear infection!. I explained that she had just finished her second lot of antibiotics this year and I really didn't want her to have any more just yet. The doctor then told me she was probably now immune to those antibiotics and she needed stronger ones, however 70% of ear infections actually go on their own with a bit of tender loving care and lots of Calpol. So I then departed the lovely clinic, unchained my pram (cant be too sure these days, especially in SE3!!!) and headed off home, with a hot little upset Erin.! Still none the wiser why my little girls is always ill!.
Now I am back at home I need to try and close the next issue of Computeractive, which isn't looking good what so ever! Jesus, why isn't life easy!

If life was easy it wouldn't be worth living...
so said a wise man.
Jaysus Eve. You poor thing! I hope your girls are better soon and tell Clinton to WAKE UP! ;-) Why do men sleep through moments when they're really needed? It's like they have an inbuilt device which says useless when needed!
