How it all began

Baby D number three. - concieved mid August - due 20th May 2006.

Well number three is on its way, growing far too quickly and causing quite a stir. You happened rather quickly! and now little Erin has settled down we are all excited with your arrival on 20th May. It would be nice if you were to come on time because your naughty sisters both drew things out and in true Daniels style arrived late.

Well bump three was discovered rather late in the day. I had just returned to work, got my career back on track, accepted offers on the flat and the house and we were looking forward to our next holiday in South Africa in February. Then I started noticing thoses eractic mood swings, weight gain and falling asleep standing up finally gave it away. I then took a visit to the doctors as I refused to believe the test and they took my blood to really prove to me that we were expecting again.

As you can imagine lots of things were going through my mind - my poor body, can I cope with this. Little Erin, would she have enough time at being a baby (sounds mad but she was only 4 months when we conceived!). Work - what would they think about me popping another sprog out. House - where will we fit everyone and of course can we afford it.

After the innitial shock and the doctors visits, scans and bloodtests I finally told the world at about 17 weeks. Mind you if people thought I was just fat they were either being polite or were nuts. I didn't have much time to get used to pretending I was just fat because bump 3 started kicking at 18 weeks and over Christmas my tummy erupted in a rather large turkey shapped bump.

January 23rd was the 5 month scan (23 weeks). The scan was totally amazing, we saw everything, had a long look at the heart and could even see the flow of blood through the left and right side of the heart. We saw the kidneys, liver, bladder, intestines, arms, legs, fingers and toes. It was fab, the ultrasonographer then looked into babys mouth and you could see everything, the tongue, nose, gums etc. Very cute......then finally we saw the what flavour our third baby is....another little girl.

I am thrilled with a girl, think it would be lovely to have 3 girls together, all close too. Erin and Megan are so different, really quite scary how different they are in personallities, I do hope they all get on. Charlies angels or Clintons angels.
